Pro Football Weekly is reporting that New England is the most likely destination for free agent Pro Bowl LB Zach Thomas.
Zach Thomas has spent each of his 12 NFL seasons suiting up under the South Florida sun. It appears now that for lucky No. 13, Thomas will be patrolling the middle for one of his bitter rivals through the years, the Patriots. Although Thomas — the leading tackler in Dolphins history, who was cut by Miami’s new front office — is visiting with the Saints and Cowboys, as well, we hear that the Pats lead in the competition for his services. Thomas was offered a contract upon his visit to Foxborough earlier in the week, and the allure of New England could end up being too great to pass up. More importantly, the Pats would provide him possibly the best chance to win a Super Bowl, something he has never done. But the personal relationships he has in New England could be the deciding factor. Numerous Patriots, including Junior Seau, Larry Izzo, Wes Welker and Sammy Morris, are former teammates of his from Miami, and Thomas has seen how they’ve resurrected their careers upon leaving South Beach for Beantown. In the end, the benefits should outweigh the detriments enough to swing the pendulum in the Pats’ favor.

As long as he's healthy, I like the signing but there still needs to be a young LB drafted this year. Seau, Bruschi, and Thomas are 12+ years in, we need youth at LB to complement Adalius and Vrabel.
At least draft one LB…..please!
BTW, Zach Thomas can stop the run just like Ted Johnson but he also gets concussions like him too!
